SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!! IT'S TIME TO OPEN THE WINDOWS AND LET THE FRESH AIR IN. WE HAVE A FEW SPECIALS TO HELP GET YOU PREPARED FOR THE EXPECTED ~ UNEXPECTED.

PLUMBING NEWS:

Naturally, that does not make a whole lot of sense unless you have lived in the Maryland and surrounding areas for a SPRING season or two. We can expect a lot of rain, which could lead to the unexpected ~ flooding. The past two years have proven to be faithful in that area. Sump pumps are a valuable tool in protecting your belongings from the wrath of the flood. Also, don't forget about the condensate pumps for the air conditioner either. The better prepared for the expected you can be means the fewer unexpected you will have to deal with.

SUMP/CONDENSATE PUMPS: We are providing a $25 DISCOUNT off of any SUMP PUMP or CONDENSATE PUMP replacement done between April 1st and August 31st.

SCALE BLASTER (Electronic Water Softener): We are providing a $50 DISCOUNT off of any SCALE BLASTER installed between April 1st and August 31st.

We now offer an alternative to the expensive, and tiresome water softener systems. These units are salt and maintenance free. They hang on the wall taking up little space and time. These units remove scale deposits that have already built up in your systems and instead of removing the calcium and magnesium, which are necessary for our metabolism, it breaks them up so your body can absorb these important minerals. This also reduces the amount of water you use compared to the traditional water softener system meaning no more salt to buy and store. HOSE BIBS (Otherwise known as OUTSIDE FAUCETS):

Time to turn on the water ~ but 1st make sure they are not leaking from the recent harsh winter season. Slowly, turn the water on and inspect for leaks inside and outside. If you find a leak, turn the water off and give us a call.

GAS GRILLS:

Grills are a welcome site during any season; however, during the cooler months be especially careful as our little furry friends tend to make their homes in the strangest of places. So before you get the grillin' season up and going, first start with an overall inspection. Be sure to check the inside of the grill for any spider webs. Spiders can make their way inside of the tubes and block the gas flow causing serious danger to the user. Also, check for possible gas leaks that may have resulted from the grill being moved around; over all age of the grill; and general, everyday use. Most people are not aware that grills should be serviced on an 'ANNUAL' basis. This is a service we at PTP provide. This service will prolong the life of your grill as well as allow it to operate properly and safely giving you a more enjoyable grilling season.

GAS FIREPLACE NEWS:

We recommend that you leave the pilot ON on your fireplace; however, if you feel the need to turn it off, make sure you have the unit properly serviced in the fall before the colder weather sets in. As a reminder: All gas fireplaces do need to be serviced on an 'ANNUAL' basis. This simple maintenance corrects over 90% of the problems customers have with their units. It also allows the unit to operate more effectively and efficiently.

This is the most important thing you can do to help prolong the life of your unit and your enjoyable time in front of it.

GAS LAMPS:

This too is a good time of the year to get your gas lamps tuned up and shined up. A simple 'ANNUAL' service will prove to be beneficial for these outdoor beacons. We are also able to re-paint the poles and bodies if needed.

10% DISCOUNT OFF OF LABOR CONTINUES:

We are continuing the 10% DISCOUNT off of the LABOR rates through the SPRING and SUMMER season to help with these tough economic times and we are adding a NEW bonus to our CUSTOMER REFERRAL PROGRAM. Customers that refer us to family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. will receive a $25 Gift Certificate for each NEW referral that we service. The gift certificates do not expire and can be combined and used for your next plumbing/gas service. Referrals MUST have had service and MUST provide the name of the existing customer that referred them.

Each time you refer someone, (remember, they MUST provide your name) we will enter you in our GRAND PRIZE DRAWING. That's right, each referral increases your chances of winning. Then, at the end of each quarter, (March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st) we will pick a name, yes the old fashion way, out of a hat.
